Andrea Mezzasalma is currently Head of Audience Research at Sky Italia, where he’s driving forward new measurement strategies to cope with TV fragmentation and to add further value to Sky Italia’s advertising offer.
He’s also a member of the Technical Committee of the Italian TV measurement body, Auditel. Andrea has extensive experience in market and media research, in Italy and Internationally.
As a partner of Eurisko (now GfK Eurisko) he designed and ran the first portable-GPS-based nation-wide outdoor media company Audiposter. He also created a set of original segmentation and targeting tools that became a standard for the Italian media community (Grande Mappa, Eurisko Maps) and led the technical and commercial deployment of the portable meter Eurisko Media Monitor.
He also served as Global Head of the TNS’ iTRAM – Internet, Television and Radio measurement – sector.
